The service
EccleciaOS is provided as software in the cloud. It includes whatever the plan each parish or diocese has agreed describes, which can be read inside the application.
Accounts
Everybody signs in with their own account and is responsible for their password. Accounts are not shared. Whoever administers a parish decides who enters and with which permissions, and may withdraw them at any time.
Acceptable use
The service is for the life and the administration of a Catholic community. It may not be used to store unlawful content, to send messages to people who have not consented to them, or to attempt to reach another parish’s data.
Payments and plans
Fees, trial periods and the limits of each plan are those set out in the agreement with each parish. Non-payment may suspend access; data is kept for the agreed period before deletion.
Availability and backups
We work to keep the service continuously available and we keep backups, but no system is free of interruptions. Planned maintenance is announced.
Liability
The service is provided as described. We do not answer for the use a parish makes of the data it records, nor for indirect damages. Nothing written here limits rights the law grants regardless.
Changes and ending the service
If we change these terms we will say so in the application with reasonable notice. A parish may stop using EccleciaOS whenever it wishes and take its data with it.
